Historic Equity Services

Historic Equity, Inc. is a Missouri "C" corporation whose purpose is to invest in real estate, and to act as a broker and dealer in tax credits and partnership interests related to historic properties. Estep Real Estate Services LLC is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Missouri.

HEI generally enters the ownership entities of qualified rehabilitation projects as a service partner that contributes experience and expertise in oversight of historic projects. HEI purchases a limited partnership interest, provides a scope of services determined by the general partner, and receives a 100% allocation of transferable state historic tax credit certificates.

Historic Equity helps owners market their state tax credits in the most favorable terms and conditions. HEI is responsible for the timely delivery and sale of the state historic credits at the best price available, providing equity to historic rehabilitation projects. HEI shares in the risks of the development and does not receive compensation without the successful delivery of the credits.
